The designer
"When designing jewelry,
I imagine what people want to communicate about their personality or state of mind."

Thaisa Ventura is a Brazilian jewelry designer who graduated in architecture in 2004 from Mackenzie University in São Paulo. After a career in urban planning, motherhood provided her with a pause in projects, during which she began a jewelry manufacturing course. Fascinated by the autonomy allowed by the process of conceiving and producing a piece of jewelry, she transitioned from large urban plans to the delicate scale of jewelry. The experience of creating a piece of jewelry and being able to wear the new creation or see others wearing it is truly gratifying! In her childhood, she remembers using leftover yarn from the pieces her mother knitted to make bracelets and sell them at school. The passion for design was already there, and decades later, it became her professional activity!
The designer incorporates various architectural tools and concepts into her jewelry, resulting in pieces that are quite geometric but exhibit a fluid and organic quality, inspired by nature, art, and Brazilian architecture. Her creations reflect a pursuit of purity in form, avoiding excessive ornamentation. The goal is to achieve beauty through simple and elegant construction solutions, refining each piece to its most essential elements.
Since its inception in 2020, the Thaisa Ventura jewelry brand has been continuously improving its processes and its relationship with the environment and the people connected to the brand: employees, suppliers, and customers. Aware of the environmental impact caused by the extraction of metals and stones, she continuously seeks more sustainable ways to create her jewelry. This includes reusing stones from old necklaces, recycling silver from cutlery and other unused jewelry, using gold plating free from harmful metals, and opting for lab-grown diamonds.
